Don't let Christmas Decorations Compromise your Security

It's now the season where everyone is hanging tinsel, baubles, and other ornaments across their rooms and ceilings. One thing to note however is that reflective decorations placed very closed to PIR (infra red) detectors can cause them to trigger leading to false alarms. It always good practice to not hand any obstructions in front of the PIRs also, doing so would mean that thedetector could fail to trigger if there really was a genuine break-in.
